Mark Albrecht is responsible for overseeing United Cargo's costs and capital expenditures, as well as leading United's ULD assets, Cargo’s Road feeder services, Safety, Policy, and Procedure. Mark and his team continuously balance cost and customer expectations by driving continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and an entrepreneurial philosophy.

Mark has held various management positions in the Credit Union, Onboard Schedule Planning, Vendor Planning, Network Planning, and has led United Cargo’s freighter fleet. Before his current position, Mark served as United's Director of Cargo Operations Excellence.

Mark earned his B.S. from Elmhurst College in Illinois and his MBA from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. Known for his animated storytelling, he is enthusiastic about sharing his adventurous travel tales. When not jet-setting with his fiancé, son, daughter, or extended family, he can be found working on home improvement projects, golfing, or cheering for his favorite Chicago sports teams.
