Emmys on board—for 25 years

Earlier this month, United Airlines had the honor of delivering hundreds of Emmy statuettes to Los Angeles in preparation for the 76th annual Emmy Awards, which aired on September 15, 2024.

The journey of the statuettes begins in Chicago, where they are manufactured, and ends in Los Angeles, the heart of the entertainment industry. For 25 years, United Airlines has been entrusted with the safe and timely delivery of these symbols of achievement, reflecting the airline’s dedication to providing service that is truly award-worthy.

In celebration of this longstanding tradition, United Airlines’ employees at O’Hare International Airport are given a unique opportunity to engage with these iconic awards. “It’s a great privilege to be a part of the Emmy Awards every year,” said Jim Riordan, Cargo Operations Manager for O’Hare. “I always look forward to seeing them come through O’Hare and to this special event.”

This 25-year partnership with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is more than just a service—it’s a testament to United Airlines’ commitment to excellence and a reflection of the award-worthy experience the airline strives to provide to all its customers.
