United Cargo was honored as the Best Air Cargo Carrier – North America at the prestigious 2024 Asian Freight, Logistics, and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards ceremony in June. This recognition marks the seventh time we’ve received this esteemed award, highlighting our dedication to our customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The AFLAS awards celebrate outstanding performance, consistency in operation, and exemplary customer relationship management.

Accepting the award was Mirco Renfer, Managerial Director of Cargo - APAC, and Hazel Ip, Commercial Director of Cargo - APAC. “This award demonstrates United’s continued dedication to leading the APAC market, not only in terms of daily flights across the Pacific but also through the exceptional service levels we provide across various Asia-Pacific markets,” said Renfer.

We’re looking forward to expanding our presence in the Asia-Pacific market in 2024. Starting at the end of August, we’re launching four weekly flights between Shanghai Pudong and Los Angeles, and plans to increase this route to daily service by the end of October. Additionally, a second daily flight between Hong Kong and Los Angeles will begin at the end of October. These enhancements highlight our commitment to strengthening connectivity and meeting the growing demands of the Asia-Pacific region.
