Due to the pandemic, United Cargo temporarily adjusted the pickup and drop-off locations last summer for our QuickPak and LifeGuard services at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Effective April 1, 2021, the tender and recovery of all domestic QuickPak and LifeGuard shipments resumed service at the United Cargo QuickPak counter of Terminal 1 at ORD. For international QuickPak and LifeGuard, please continue to tender shipments at the ORD Main Cargo Facility. 

The United QuickPak counter is located adjacent to Terminal 1 on the lower level. Customers can follow the airline small package delivery signs. 

Please note the customer service hours of operation at our ORD QuickPak counter:

Daily: 0500-2300 

The drop-off and recovery times for QuickPak and LifeGuard domestic shipments are as follows: 

Non-DG QuickPak or LifeGuard shipments must be accepted and processed 45- minutes before departure time.

• DG QuickPak or LifeGuard shipments must be accepted and processed 90-minutes before departure time.
• Recovery time for all QuickPak and LifeGuard shipments is 60-minutes after arrival time.
• For QuickPak or LifeGuard shipments that include regulated dangerous goods, shipments must be accepted and processed 90-minutes at the United Cargo warehouse ORD - Main Cargo Facility.
• Please note that only same-day LifeGuard shipments are accepted at the Terminal 1 counter.

All shipments must be processed before the drop-off times listed. Please allow enough time to arrive at the QuickPak facility, tender your shipment and complete the acceptance process. Peak times may result in more processing time.
