Winter Storm Landon to hit U.S. Central Region
Winter Storm Landon is expected to spread snow, sleet, ice, and freezing rain across the central U.S. on Groundhog’s Day, February 2, 2022. Due to the hazardous weather conditions, we are placing restrictions at several freight stations indicated below.
- Effective 00:00 CST Wednesday, February 2 through 23:59 CST Thursday, February 3, all shipments are restricted to, from, and transferring through the following station:
- St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL)
- Effective 00:00 CST through 23:59 CST Thursday, February 3, LifeGuard (LHO), Express (EXP), QuickPak (QPK), and TempControl (TC) shipments with be restricted to from, and transferring through the following stations:
- Detroit Metro Airport (DTW)
- Indianapolis International Airport (IND)
- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)
- Effective 05:00 through 19:00 CST Wednesday, February 2, all shipments on narrowbody aircraft with the exception of LifeGuard (LHO), TrustUA (HR), and QuickPak (QPK) are restricted to, from, and transferring through the following station:
- O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
All cargo will be held at the origin station until the restrictions have ended unless it has been rerouted at a customer’s request. Restricted shipments currently booked to arrive or depart during the restricted date range must be rebooked.
