Hurricane Beryl Update

UPDATE: We are pleased to report that all restrictions have been lifted at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston. All shipments booked to, from and through IAH can resume as normal.

Please note that the United Cargo Customer Service Center in Houston is still impacted by the inclement weather and is experiencing delays responding to emails and calls. We appreciate your patience as we work to answer all requests as quickly as possible.

Hurricane Beryl Update

UPDATE: Due to the ongoing cleanup in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, we are updating our restrictions at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston.

Effective immediately we are placing new restrictions on all shipments on narrow-body aircraft to, from and through IAH. These restrictions will end on July 10 at 06:00 CDT. Any cargo currently in transit destined for IAH on narrow-body aircraft will continue to be held at the upline station until the restrictions are lifted or rerouted at a customer’s request. Outbound shipments scheduled to depart during the restrictions must be rebooked.

Restrictions on all inbound, outbound and transfer shipments booked on widebody aircraft have been lifted and we will begin accepting these shipments on July 9. We are also lifting restrictions on LifeGuard products booked on narrow-body aircraft.

Full restrictions at IAH due to Hurricane Beryl

Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the eastern Texas coast early this morning. As a result, we are temporarily placing full cargo restrictions at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston.

Effective immediately and through Tuesday, July 9, at 06:00 CDT, all inbound, outbound, and transfer cargo is restricted at IAH. No freight will move to, from or through IAH during these restrictions.

Any cargo currently in transit destined for IAH will be held at the upline station until the restrictions are lifted. Outbound shipments scheduled to depart during the restrictions must be rebooked.
