United Cargo was awarded the Best Air Cargo Carrier - North America at the 2022 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards ceremony in Hong Kong on September 7. Commercial Director of Cargo – APAC Hazel Ip and members of the United Cargo APAC sales team were on hand to accept the award.

"During such a challenging time, we are once again honored and grateful to receive this award," said Hazel. "As a passenger airline, our capacity is driven by travelers, so getting the resources to support APAC cargo demand can be challenging, especially when many countries have Covid restrictions. This award has proven that our APAC sales team has gone above and beyond to offer our customers creative solutions and delivers the service and quality they deserve and expect from us."

The annual awards are hosted by Asia Cargo News to recognize organizations for demonstrating leadership, consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. The winners are nominated and voted on by more than 15,000 Asia Cargo News readers and e-news subscribers, rather than a panel of judges. This is the fifth award that United Cargo has received since 2017.
